It will depend on the material type and schedule availability.
On average, solid hardwood needs to sit in your house for 3 months prior to installation in order to acclimate to your house’s environment.
Engineered flooring takes about 1 months to acclimate.
LVT flooring does not need to acclimate.
Exotic species of wood such as Brazilian cherry can take anywhere from 6 months to a year to acclimate.
After the flooring has acclimated, there will likely be an additional wait for an opening to become available in the schedule.
